The sun it's in bright glory
Reminds me of your smile
Radiating, powerful, from cheek to cheek
Sadly, i haven't seen it in awhile
And finally, i must say, my love
I realize, as i finish this verse
Before, i saw the universe in you
Now, i see you in the universe 


Cleanliness
The bath water
Is the color of my eyes
Yet i don't know
Which is wetter 


Galaxies
You may not have been birthed in the soil
And granted
You will not blossom
When spring melts winters wake
But inside of you
Grows a thousand gardens
Full of exploding stars
You are of the earth
And your ashes 
Have been constructed with stardust
And set free with the weind
So you may not have a pretty face
And your body may hold stories
Of too many moonless nights alone 
But if you reach inside 
You will find a forest
For a ribcage
And a restless ocean heart
So don't ever let anyone tell you 
You are nothing
You are a galaxy


The power of hunger
The power of words
The power of silence
Starts to get to you
You can feel the bitter
Cold of loneliness
In your bones
They are wasting away
From the starvation of
Human interaction that will
Eat away at your soul


I like to say
That i know
My way around the world
The truth is
I can't find a reason to stay


Nothing is safe
Nothing is secret
Something never seizes to go away
One mistake
Will eventually
Put you in your misery


Everyone going separate ways
Drowning in the deep abyss
No one is who you think you are
When you least expect it
